Kwame Owusu Danso is the Executive Director of Lands & Mines Watch Ghana. He sets the organisation’s strategic direction, leads engagement with government, industry, and communities, and drives public advocacy on transparency, licensing, and the national interest in Ghana’s extractive and land sectors.
In that role he has represented LMWG in the public domain on major mining policy questions — including commentary on competitive and transparent processes for strategic assets and on reforms aimed at strengthening accountability in the gold sector. His work is grounded in the conviction that resource governance in Ghana should serve citizens and communities first.
